What is Sculptra®?
Sculptra® is a dermal filler approved by the FDA in 2004. It is commonly used to treat lipoatrophy, also known as facial volume loss. Your facial skin loses volume as collagen levels decline. The injectable is similar to other dermal fillers, but with one crucial difference.
Instead of filling in fine lines and helping to smooth out wrinkles, Sculptra® stimulates natural collagen production in your skin. The results look more natural and typically last for two years or longer.
